Job Description:Broadcom’s Enterprise Security Group (ESG) is looking for a motivated and creative competitive intel enthusiast to join the business unit’s product marketing team, which supports both the Symantec and Carbon Black cybersecurity brands. An ideal candidate for this role will have a strong foundation in product marketing or competitive intelligence, with an ability to execute quickly and effectively without significant supervision. Above all else, this role requires adaptability and a willingness to seek out success in a non-traditional go-to-market model.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to help shape a competitive program for ESG’s Catalyst partner network and internal account teams. Alongside a competitive intelligence teammate, you will help create enablement content, conduct training, and provide strategic guidance on competitive positioning and product development.
This is an on-site, office-based position in Palo Alto, CA, or Austin, TX.
Responsibilities
Develop competitive enablement content that not only covers technical product differentiation but also clearly guides sellers on how to position products strategic and sell based on value, not just features
Conduct regular competitive enablement trainings for field teams of varying technical aptitude
Monitor market movement and translate competitive news and actions into strategic insights for sales, marketing and product management teams
Iteratively review and refine competitive enablement for Broadcom ESG Catalyst partners to increase win rates
Qualifications
Bachelor's and 8+ years experience in competitive intelligence, product marketing, or adjacent field preferred
Passion for competitive intelligence and problem solving
Experience up-leveling technical content to conversational and succinct positioning
Familiarity with cybersecurity market and technologies preferred but not required
Highly adaptable and comfortable working with minimal oversight
Team player with good attitude and willingness to think outside of the box

Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $160,000
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
