Job DescriptionThis internship will be partially remote but the hired applicant will be expected to come into the Mount Prospect office a minimum of 60% of the week. Only local applicants will be considered.
This internship will be part of the Global Rotary Product Team within the Dremel business unit. Alongside Product Managers, this intern will be supporting a wide range of marketing activities for customer and country executions for new product development and launches. The chosen candidate will be supporting activities within North America, Europe, Asia Pacific & Latin America/South America. These activities include:
Supporting new product development activities including innovation, ideation and execution.Supporting brainstorming activities on new product development.Product launch & current product portfolio management support.Competitive and market analysis on product categories.Forecasting & formulating of product opportunities including market analysis & user researchThe goal of this internship is to develop into a key support for product marketing and to be self-sufficient in marketing projects by the end of the rotation.
QualificationsCurrently enrolled in or a recent graduate (within 6 months) of an accredited program within Business, Marketing, or ManagementMinimum 3.0 GPA requiredExcellent writing and presentation skillsStrong project management and organizational skills; able to shift focus and work under short deadlinesHighly collaborative; able to build productive, positive working relationships internally and externallyProficient Microsoft Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be able to work 30-40 hours per week (Monday - Friday)Additional InformationBy choice, we are committed to a diverse workforce - EOE/Protected Veteran/Disabled.

The U.S. base hourly range for this internship position is $20 - $23/hr.
