Robotics R&D Manager, China

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to Contribute to the implementation of “China for China” product offering strategy to align and support the Greatest Robotics Company strategy to capture the domestic growth opportunities and drive the business performance in China market. Work effectively with cross-functional team to define and communicate the “China for China” product value propositions and product positioning.1. Contribute in prioritizing new offering development projects by leading local market situation analysis and evaluating market opportunities, both against competition and new market opportunity. 2. Develop deep understanding of product capabilities and value proposition, create demand through technical promotion and providing solutions to secure or expand sales in a value base selling approach.3. Work as interface between front-end business and R&D to propose and evaluate product feasibility projects and roadmaps for new offering and variants.4. Drive innovation with a strong customer orientation, exploring opportunities along the full customer/user journey, and contribute to development of new portfolios by leading customer need and value analysis.5. Work closely with Marketing, Sales & Communications teams to support the “China for China” product marketing plan, including marketing communication activities, training activities and sales promotion initiatives. 6. Follow up offering portfolio performance, monitor the offering portfolio to ensure that a healthy mix and vitality are maintained for local market.

Qualifications for the role

1. Master degree or above, Engineering preferred. 2. 8-10years of experience in Robotics industry with sound proficiency in products & applications technology.3. Deep knowledge of Industrial Robotics products and customers. 4. Experience in product/application development, performing various offering life cycle activities, supporting development, launch, etc.5. Exceptional analytical, systematic thinking, leadership skills and can-do mindset.6. Collaborative and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams7. Professional proficiency in English, excellent communication & presentation & interpersonal skills.8. Self-motivation, curiosity and a desire to learn about new business models & technologies.
