Position Summary
We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager, Cloud Security & Cybersecurity Leadership Curricula to join our team. This role will lead our Cloud Security & Cybersecurity Leadership Curricula product marketing efforts. Responsibilities include showcasing our products in ways that enhance our brand and drive revenue. The ideal candidate is both a creative and analytical thinker with experience in product marketing tactics, such as persona understanding, voice of the customer product messaging, content creation, and enablement delivery. A successful candidate will develop and implement plans to effectively position and promote our products, work as a collaborative cross-functional team player, and have a solid understanding of basic business concepts. Experience with launching cyber security products, solution messaging, and content creation is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Market Intelligence & Strategy: Understand cybersecurity trends, competitor positioning, and customer needs, translating insights into actionable product marketing strategies. Positioning & Messaging: Develop compelling messaging and positioning that communicates the unique value and differentiators of our cybersecurity products for various buyer personas and verticals. Product Launches: Lead the planning and execution of go-to-market strategies for new product launches and feature releases, collaborating with curriculum, product management, sales, and cross-functional teams. Sales Enablement: Equip sales teams with tools, training, and resources, including product sheets, presentations, and competitive battle cards, to improve product knowledge and customer engagement. Content Development: Support the creation of engaging, high-impact content such as, case studies, web and social copy, video, and blog posts to support product awareness, demand generation, and lead nurturing. Work hand-in-hand with faculty to guide and elevate their content creation and bring it to market. Campaign Planning & Execution: Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted campaigns that drive awareness, demand, and product adoption; analyze campaign performance to optimize future efforts. Customer Insights & Feedback: Gather and incorporate customer feedback to refine messaging, improve product offerings, and inform future product development. Competitive Analysis: Monitor and assess competitive offerings and position our products effectively in the marketplace, updating positioning and messaging as needed. Performance Measurement: Use KPIs and metrics to track the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives, and report findings to stakeholders with recommendations for improvement. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with product, sales, and engineering teams to ensure alignment and contribute to a cohesive customer experience from awareness through retention. Faculty Liaison: Build trusted relationships with faculty that enable confidence, trust, and support for their brand building in a manner consistent with SANS standards, processes, and brand.Basic Qualifications
5–7 years in product marketing, preferably within the Cyber Security industry, with at least 3 years in B2B as well. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in marketing. Proven success with complex initiatives across multiple teams. Comfortable in a virtual work setting with occasional travel. Experience crafting product marketing messages, creating content, and presenting to internal/external stakeholders. Familiar with sales enablement tools for global direct and channel sales teams. Skilled at identifying audience pain points and positioning content effectively. Have a background in marketing cybersecurity and/or IT products and services Familiarity with engaging with customer forums/advisory boards a plus Exceptional written and verbal communication skillsReporting Relationships
This position reports to the Director, Product Marketing, works regularly with the Curriculum Director and Curriculum Lead, and has no direct reports.
Work Environment
Remote work environment. Travel required 10% of the time for in person team meetings and curriculum specific events.

The base salary range for this position is between $90,000 - $110,000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location and relevant experience, education, certifications, and years of experience. There is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.
