Product Marketing Manager - Investment Accounting

Clearwater Analytics is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to lead the marketing efforts for our industry-leading investment accounting product. This product delivers daily, accurate, comprehensive, customizable reports, empowering our clients to streamline their accounting close, risk, compliance, and tax operations. 

Key Responsibilities 

Product Positioning & Messaging 

Develop and refine product positioning, messaging, and value propositions that resonate with accounting, finance, and compliance professionals. 

Clearly articulate how Clearwater’s investment accounting product delivers unparalleled accuracy, efficiency, and insight for accounting close, risk, compliance, and tax operations. 

Ensure messaging aligns with the company’s overarching vision and drives differentiation in the market. 

Market Research & Competitive Intelligence 

Conduct research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. 

Monitor competitor activity and use insights to inform product strategy and positioning. 

Act as the go-to expert on market dynamics for investment accounting and reporting. 

Client-Centric Strategy 

Partner with customer success, sales, and product teams to gather and synthesize customer feedback into actionable insights. 

Build detailed personas and map customer workflows, ensuring Clearwater’s solutions align with client segments. 

Anticipate industry trends and position Clearwater as the clear leader.  

Go-to-Market Strategy & Execution 

Lead cross-functional teams in planning and executing successful product launches for new features and enhancements. 

Collaborate with demand generation and content teams to create impactful campaigns, thought leadership materials, and case studies. 

Support regional marketing efforts to ensure localized messaging and campaign success. 

Sales Enablement 

Develop and deliver sales tools, presentations, and collateral that communicate the value of Clearwater’s investment accounting product. 

Provide ongoing training and support to the sales team, enabling them to position and sell the product effectively. 

Design strategies for cross-sell and upsell opportunities, driving additional value for existing clients. 

Strategic Vision & Planning 

Define and execute a long-term product marketing strategy aligned with revenue goals and business objectives. 

Analyze marketing performance data to refine strategies and improve outcomes. 

Collaborate closely with senior leaders to ensure marketing initiatives align with organizational priorities. 

Role Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field  

7+ years of product marketing experience, financial services expertise required 

Strong knowledge of investment accounting, compliance, risk, and tax operations workflows. 

Proven ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies that drive measurable results. 

Expertise in creating compelling product messaging and positioning for complex solutions. 

Collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range

$120,000.00 - $168,000.00

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health/vision/dental insurance, 401(k), PTO, parental leave, and medical leave, STD/LTD insurance benefits.
