Product Specialist

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to represent global divisions in the country to drive sales and market growth. Each day, you will oversee sales and marketing activities and support Sales organizations in driving sales and services for their respective products. You will also showcase your expertise by defining, planning, and ensuring the implementation of product marketing strategies in line with global product strategy.The work model for the role is: HybridThis role is contributing to the Electrification - Smart Buildings Division of ABB Vietnam and the position is based in Ho Chi Minh City.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tCreating, planning, and ensuring implementation of the local go-to-market product marketing strategy, including defining and communicating product value propositions and product positioning in accordance with the global product marketing strategy.•\tFocusing on achievement of the target set for metrics like total demand orders (by ABB and third-party), growth margin percentage, net price variance, Net Promoter Score (NPS), inventory turn on finished goods, and on-time delivery as requested.•\tEvaluating market opportunities, determining appropriate activities aligned with the overall strategy, and coordinating opportunities across local divisions and local business units, as appropriate.•\tEnsuring balanced growth for all product lines, product groups, and business units and creating product demand by promoting technical aspects, providing solutions, and utilizing value-based selling approach.

Qualifications for the role

You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in an Engineering or related area Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar roleAbility to demonstrate strong problem solving, learning agility and ability to deal with shifting priorities and issuesYou are result focused and able to work well under challenging market environment and against tight deadline.Possess entrepreneurial attitude, excellent communication and negotiation skills.You are self-driven with networking, collaboration, and intercultural skills.At ease in communicating in English language
