About this opportunity:

With over five years as an established Ericsson Production Site in the US, the Production team is looking to expand our capabilities in new product introduction and other high touch build coordination. The Product Operations Coordinator manages the coordination of the end-to-end flow of a given product within Production from Surface Mount Assembly (SMA) board production through Final Assembly (FA) production to the Product Development Unit or end customer.

The Product Operations Coordinator must have broad, hands-on knowledge of all production steps to ensure timely delivery of complex, high-visibility projects while communicating status in an accurate and concise manner. The Product Operations Coordinator is on the forefront of ensuring the success of the US 5G Smart Factory in adding new products to our portfolio of the most cutting-edge 5G radios and basebands in the world.

 

What you will do: 

Coordinate Production Activities: Manage production floor operations for various build types, including new product introductions, product transfers, prototypes, and rework projects. Ensure material readiness and adherence to special instructions and collaborate with the Warehouse Coordinator for timely packaging and delivery.Manage Product Flow: Organize and track product movement through SMA, FA, Repair, Testing, and Warehouse to ensure complete closure of production orders and timely delivery to customersCommunicate Effectively: Engage with product introduction teams, collaborating with Project Managers and engineers to ensure project success. Lead build plan meetings and produce detailed build reports for internal and external stakeholders. Ensure Continuity Across Shifts: Coordinate activities within Production across different shifts to maintain operational continuity and efficiencyDrive Performance: Monitor and drive key performance indicators related to build timeliness. Provide feedback and propose improvements for product assembly processes.Guarantee Quality: Suggest and execute preventative and corrective actions to enhance production quality and efficiency for your products.Adhere to Safety and Quality Standards: Promote and strictly follow all safety, environmental, and quality guidelines, ensuring compliance without deviation.

 

The skills you bring:

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent on-the-job training in industrial, mechanical, or electrical engineering, or a related field in manufacturing processes. Energetic and Hands-On: High energy with a strong desire to be actively involved in a production environment. Technical and Process Knowledge: Solid understanding of technology and manufacturing processes, including Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S principles. Leadership and Communication Skills: Proven leadership behavior paired with strong communication abilities. Reporting and Analytical Skills: Proficiency in reporting and data analytics to support decision-making. Adaptability: Ability to work effectively in a highly diverse, fast-paced, and constantly evolving work environment. Understanding of Ericsson: Familiarity with Ericsson, its products, and its processes is highly desirable.
