Job Description

This is a newly created role within our A/NZ business to drive a culture of being a product-led organisation, where we focus on building and delivering scalable solutions that meet client and market needs. This role supports our Business Unit Product teams by establishing consistent product management processes and tools that meet our internal policy and procedural requirements. This role requires the provision of regular training, communication, and support to ensure that all stakeholders remain up to date with Experian’s governance requirements and assists the Product teams in leveraging these processes to build and launch successful products to market in an efficient and effective manner.

 

This role is part of the central Strategy & Product function and will work closely with each of the BU Heads of Product, Compliance, Legal, Security and our regional product team. This role requires a highly self-motivated individual who can influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams, particularly product management, to drive consistency in our approach to being a product-led organisation.

 

What you’ll need to bring to the role & Experian

 

Confidence and strong interpersonal skills to work with stakeholders across legal, compliance, product management and sales to ensure all parties are aware of regulatory and operational impacts of strategic initiative.Excellent presentation and communication skills to drive thought leadership across the business and increase awareness of the impacts to our business of regulatory changeDeep knowledge of Product Management processes and product-led methodology to drive consistency across our business in the development and launch of productsCross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including BU product teams, sales, marketing, and regional and global teamsIndustry Knowledge: Deep understanding of data and technology services in areas such as credit and/or the financial services industry and/or marketing services, including trends, challenges, and regulatory requirements. Strong industry network.Understanding of the regulatory environment and impacts to our products and solutionsUnderstanding of competitive environment

Centre of excellence in product management: ensuring consistency across our business in the way we approach product innovation, product development, governance, go to market and launch of products.Providing ongoing training and updates, to all stakeholders involved in product management across the organisationSupporting BU teams in identifying suitable capability for solution gaps, considering global and regional solutions as well as local partners and build optionsCentral contact point for Global and Regional product team engagement to support BUsCentral knowledge for regulatory impacts on existing solutions, and managing government consultations and responsesCoordination of cross-BU product opportunity development, build and launch

Qualifications

More about you

 

Approximately 5 years’ experience in a product management roleProven experience in working in a cross-functional environmentDegree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
