Product Operations Manager II
**About the Role** Uber’s FinTech team is looking for a Product Operations Manager to assist in Tax & Compliance projects, align with partners and collaborate with Product Management and Engineering on Strategic and Support level requests. In this role, you will work closely with Tax, Business Operations, Data, and Engineering teams on cross-team initiative analysis, planning, alignment, and execution. We are looking for a dedicated, tech-savvy person with business knowledge, who is able to assess impact in the area of Tax & Compliance, to follow up on delivery and cross-team dependencies during roll-out, and implement required changes. **What the Candidate Will Do** 1. Partner with Product, Tax, Data & Engineering teams during requirements definition, product testing, data collection, and analysis. 2. Apply business configurations in the Uber Fintech systems and tools (responsible for hands on application of changes). 3. Observe, analyze and reflect on project execution practices and cross-team collaboration. 4. Get delivery commitment from multiple Fintech teams and communicate within teams and externally on progress, status, and launch changes. 5. Identify gaps and opportunities for product improvements and launches, and influence product, engineering, and operations roadmaps. 6. Improve documentation and transparency of Fintech to business customers. 7. Collaborate with key customers (legal, tax, policy, support etc) to prepare the product for launch **Basic Qualifications** 1. Large scale, global project management experience 2. Strong time management and prioritisation skills, ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously 3. Experience in a hands on role with responsibility of delivery/implementation (in addition to coordination and project management) 4. Team player who builds collaborative relationships and partners closely with others (internally and externally) to achieve ambitious outcomes in a constantly evolving, rapid growth environment with tight deadlines 5. Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills, and demonstrated ability to influence and gain consensus at senior levels, and explain complex concepts in simple, accessible terms. 6. Solid analytical abilities; ability to self-serve, investigate and get the data required to help make informed decisions. **Preferred Qualifications** 1. Experience working in Tax, FinTech, etc. would be considered a plus 2. Previous experience as a Business/Systems Analyst will be considered a plus 3. SQL, Python or similar proficiency would be considered a plus 4. Deep understanding of the user experience 5.
