About the Role:
As a Metrics Intern on the Product Operations team, you will play a key role in supporting data-driven decisions and optimizing operational processes. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze critical metrics, and provide insights that directly impact the team’s efficiency and success. From preparing presentations for quarterly reviews to managing travel budgets, reconciling event finances, and overseeing communication tools like Slack channels and distribution lists, your contributions will ensure smooth day-to-day operations and help drive strategic initiatives.

What You'll Do:
Product Operations Quarterly Metrics Meeting and Presentation:
Schedule, organize, and prepare to analyze data for quarterly metrics reviews for multiple projects.
Develop visually compelling presentations to effectively communicate insights and progress to stakeholders.
Revamp metrics in collaboration with team members to ensure alignment on reporting standards and data accuracy.
Provide feedback on metrics to be considered in reporting
Automate custom business reporting for Product and Engineering leaders
Roster Management:
Maintain and update team rosters, ensuring accuracy and consistency across multiple enterprise systems of record. and consistency across all records.
Tracking Travel Budget and Monthly Emails:
Monitor and manage travel budget allocations, ensuring expenses align with organizational guidelines.
Generate regular reports on travel expenditures and provide insights into cost-saving opportunities.
Draft and distribute monthly travel budget summary emails to keep stakeholders informed of current spending and remaining budget.
Reconciling Budgets for Completed Events:
Review and reconcile budgets for completed events, ensuring all expenses are accounted for and accurately recorded.
Collaborate with finance and event leads to identify any discrepancies and resolve them promptly.
Prepare post-event budget reports for review by PAG budget owners.
Software Capitalization Efforts:
Support the tracking and reporting of software development costs for capitalization purposes.
Collaborate with finance, Accounting, and product teams to ensure accurate documentation of efforts and expenses.
Survey Results Analysis:
Collect and analyze feedback from team surveys to identify trends, areas of improvement, and actionable insights.
Present survey findings to stakeholders and assist in implementing recommendations for team growth and efficiency.
Automated Distribution Lists and Slack Channels:
Create and maintain automated distribution lists for team communications, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date.
Manage and organize Slack channels to streamline team collaboration and enhance communication workflows.
Monitor and address any issues related to access or functionality of distribution lists and Slack channels.
What You'll Need:
Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field.
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets; experience with data visualization tools like Tableau is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Google Suite, Slack, and Zoom preferred.
Ability to manage changing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
