Join us at Barclays as a Product Optimisation and Delivery Lead. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the Product and Chief Operating Office (COO) Teams achieve their goals and objectives to deliver the Payment, Fraud and Cards Strategy for Private Bank. You will act as a conduit into Operations and Technology and coordinate activity across all impacted pillars and functions. Focus will be on Payments, Fraud, Cards and Resilience to ensure the strategy can be delivered alongside the banks policies, standards and external regulation. While also working directly with senior COO leadership, Tribes, and product leaders to ensure all deliverables support the objectives and to help ensure a clear path towards achieving them. You should have an ownership mindset and strong critical thinking acumen, with the ability to work closely with business and technology leaders to deliver a plan that maximises global impact and progress.
To be successful as a Product Optimisation and Delivery Lead you should have:
Experience or familiarity with Payments, Cards and Fraud.Demonstrated success in supporting the delivery of complex technology or product related initiatives. Ability to balance commercial, client and regulatory needs and requirements of a multi-geographic organisation.Ability to manage complex programmes of work, collaborating with multiple stakeholders across programmes and re-prioritising as required amidst changing landscapes.Some other highly valued skills/experience include:
Experience of working in the Private Banking industry.Knowledge of agile processes with a view on how to maximise success.Knowledge of Barclays applications used by Wealth and Private Bank businesses and shared Group applications.Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools – Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint Online and Teams.You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role can be based out of either London or Glasgow.

Accountabilities
Identification of trends and opportunities to improve areas and develop new process and procedures through the monitoring and analysis of operation data and performance metrices.Management of operations for a business area and promote efficient processes, risk management and compliance initiatives to support the bank's operations.Collaboration with internal stakeholders (including business leaders, project manager and SMEs) and external stakeholders (including vendors and service providers) to support business operations and promote alignment with the bank's objectives and SLAs.Management of operational professionals and provide guidance, coaching and support to improve colleagues' delivery quality.Management and development of KPIs to measure the effectiveness of operation functions, utilising data and technology to support the identification of areas that require improvement.Compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies related to customer experience.Creation of a safe environment for colleagues to speak up, actively and regularly encourage and solicit feedback to ensure people agenda remains focused on the right areas.Management of attrition by working closely with HR in implementing retention initiatives for work force.Vice President Expectations
