We are the Information Technology (IT) organization of our Animal Health (AH) division. Within IT, our team is responsible for partnering with business leaders to provide technology solutions that enable AH to be agile, data-focused, and ensure reliability of customer data. Presented position reports into the AH IT Intelligent Automation & Enterprise Data team, as part of the Strategy Realization Office.

The Product Owner collaborates across all levels of the organization, from senior management to tactical execution- to understand IT data management needs and propose Asset MDM services and solutions. Working in a matrixed environment, you will support all aspects of the design, development, training, and delivery of easy-to-use data & process capabilities to Get Data Clean and Keep Data Clean in the IT data domain. You will cultivate an environment that generates innovative ideas, and you will execute them in partnership with internal business partners, data stewards, IT colleagues, and outside vendors. You will standardize key performance indicators, automate insight generation, and deliver relevant, meaningful recommendations. The insights will provide better visibility to our asset (master) data business processes and IT systems landscape, as well as identifying root causes to improve data quality and process resiliency.
Primary Responsibilities
Business Process Mapping of critical asset master data processes in AH
Leading data flow management between Enterprise Architecture systems and CMDB for AH IT critical assets
Mapping out critical system attributes against business processes to provide insights into the IT landscape, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), Asset Life Cycle and Resiliency of the solutions
Optimize a sustainable process for capturing and maintaining site inventory in the ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
Combining and documenting the process and the supporting technology systems in a standard way and/or IT Solution
Visualize the IT master data quality and analyzing results, using statistical techniques where possible/needed
Develop domain expertise in key Asset business processes, systems, and steward the data of AH IT assets, products, and services in company’s Product Model Data Governance
Understand your stakeholder personas, deliver a desirable user experience, balancing users’ requirements, and the technological capabilities
Direct end-to-end Asset MDM delivery teams and establish the product roadmaps
Collaborate with business, EA and AH IT platforms, data enablement, and other IT teams to standardize Asset MDM tools and cross-train teams to use them

Management - Responsible for design and implementation of strategic, aligned, and compliant solutions to support business initiatives. Support management vision, strategy, process and policy for building a high-performance engagement model with business partners
Process and Insight - Realize core sustainable processes and enablers of successful delivery. Practice and foster a mindset of leveraging analytics to gain insights and for data-focused decision making
Relationships - Build exceptional relationships with stakeholders which are focused on meeting the business needs and most value for investments
Organizational Change Management – Demonstrate and drive high quality change management practices with clients and stakeholders while implementing solutions that are sustainable. Be a role model of management capabilities and behaviors
Global - Ensure that the solutions are aligned IT platforms and supports business strategy
Diversity - Respect diversity on teams, different perspectives, ideas, knowledge while working towards a common goal
Your Profile
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline
Knowledge of Business Process Management, CMDB management and Programming
Knowledge of Basic Asset Lifecycle Management Processes
Eagerness and high energy to observe our company leadership behaviors, especially Network leadership and a Culture of collaboration
Agile Product Owner Certified, Scrum and/or Kanban expertise, experience with Jira and Confluence
A demonstrated record of success as a Data Professional in the pharmaceutical or technology industry, with deep knowledge on data and business processes and systems
Ability to evaluate complex situations and processes and effectively integrate and synthesize the data to form a complete cohesive picture
Proven self-starter with high standards of excellence and an innovative mind
Exceptionally well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to negotiate and effectively influence stakeholders and business strategy
The ability to navigate cross-divisional programs, coordinate projects and processes across regional/global boundaries, and build effective cross-functional teams
Excellent communications skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels within the organization
A team player who places great emphasis on collective achievements and team diversity
