Position: Product Owner, Commercial Platforms

Division summary

As a Product Owner, Commercial Platforms at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will coordinate the optimization of various platforms, ensuring alignment and consistency across the board. Lead the ongoing development of case and contract management systems, drive platform vision, and collaborate with partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business requirements and ensure successful implementation.Lead the project management efforts for the implementation of new solutions.Coordinate the projects and their interdependencies, management and utilization of resources across projectsWork with internal communication teams to support stakeholder-communicationPartner with suppliers on project execution and deliveryPartner with IT to integrate solutions in the IT ecosystemSupport SOW (Statement of Work) activities and supplier management to optimize platform performance.Develop and maintain a comprehensive roadmap for the transformation period.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree required

Experience:

5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar roleProven expertise with various industry PM methodologies like AGILE, SCRUM, SAFe

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Ability to think strategically, but also have attention to detail in execution.Ability to analyze situations, apply independent judgment, discretion and initiative to address problems and develop practical, meticulous and creative solutions.Outstanding interpersonal and networking skills, with strong consultative and persuasive abilities.Passionate about Innovation with clear ability to be an out-of-the-box problem solver.Strong focus on quality, robustness and maintainability of products and processes.Ability to lead multiple projects and priorities in an organized manner.Strong understanding of platform optimization and integration.High energy level or equivalent experience with the ability to embrace and model the Thermo Fisher Scientific values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement.
