As a Product Owner, you will work closely with Product and Technology teams on product features and requirements for emerging and existing products, with particular focus on AI-driven products. You will understand client and user behaviour and prioritise value when communicating to all relevant parties (onshore and offshore) to successfully deliver a software solution to the stakeholders involved. You will be an integral part of the SCRUM process, communicating with internal teams and external clients and have a good understanding of business drivers, technology and security limitations, to help shape the vision of the technologies you are working with.

Responsibilities
Bridge the gap between AI technology and business needs, ensuring AI solutions are aligned with strategic goals and user requirements.Bring your enthusiasm and passion for AI to the team in helping define and drive ideas for new products, and constant evolution of existing products in this spaceBe able to set the benchmark for the delivery team for modern software delivery practices and have a comprehensive understanding of how to achieve success through Agile SCRUM methodologiesElicit requirements for digital products using various techniques which include but not limited to interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, process flow charts, use cases, scenario planning, business, task, and workflow analysisTranslate business requirements as an end-to-end vision of the software solution into a prioritised set of feature deliverables represented as a product roadmapCollaborate with solutions architect, technical team and subject matter experts to establish and analyse trade-offs between usability, performance and time etc.Maintain functional relationships with all stakeholders to gather information, understand stakeholder interest, maintain an up to date understanding of the various operations, and manage expectations with these stakeholdersWork closely with the SCRUM team to refine and write user stories and support the agile delivery of digital productsAct as the conduit between onshore and offshore product, technology and support teamsCritically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.What can you bring to the team?

Qualifications
Essential
5+ years demonstrated experience working in Technology building and delivering software products as a Senior Business Analyst including relevant experience as a Product Owner3+ years working in an Agile SCRUM environmentIndustry certification as a Business Analyst, Tertiary qualifications in Computing or the equivalent in work experienceExperience in, or demonstratable passion for, the application of AI and Generative AI to software applicationsExcited to learn new technologies and analytical methodologies relating to business intelligence and analysisExceptional stakeholder management experienceSuperior analytical skillsOutstanding communication skills (strong English written and verbal).Desired
Proficient with Atlassian product JIRA and confluenceWorking experience as project manager in softwareUnderstanding of Software Development Life Cycle practices within an Agile SCRUM delivery teamExperienced in developing and measuring client value in Cloud applications, SaaS and Mobile applicationsOur Aurecon Attributes describe the types of people we bring together for clients.
