Product Owner
CTG is seeking to fill a Product Owner opening for our client in New York. Location: Remote Duration: 6 months Duties: Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and development teams, ensuring clear communication of requirements and priorities Own the product backlog, defining and prioritizing user stories to deliver maximum value aligned with business goals Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily standups Provide domain expertise in utility industry processes, particularly in Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS) Drive data strategy by coordinating with technical teams using Snowflake, Matillion, and Databricks Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Big Data technologies in Azure and Google Cloud environments Champion the use of data visualization tools such as Power BI for business intelligence reporting and decision-making Guide and coach teams on Agile best practices and principles as an Agile Coach Leverage past experience with National Grid to align product development with customer expectations and industry standards Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders Expertise in utility domain operations and ADMS functionality Proficient in data analytics tools and platforms including Snowflake, Matillion, and Databricks Experience with Azure and Google Cloud-based Big Data technologies Skilled in Power BI for data visualization and dashboard development Deep understanding of Agile methodologies; experience serving as Agile Coach Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements Experience: 7+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in Agile software development environments Prior experience in the utility industry, with knowledge of National Grid’s processes strongly preferred Proven track record of managing complex data projects involving cloud platforms and analytics tools Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree a plus Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
