About the role:

As a Business Analyst. You will work closely with Product Managers, Developers, Devps, Architects etc to design, build, implement and test quality technical or functional solutions.

What you will be doing:

Understands product strategy, market, industry, and client goals.

Works with stakeholders to understand business problem statements and convert them into user stories.

Articulates product vision and user stories in a manner clearly understandable to development teams.

Manages backlog of user stories for one or more projects/features.

Establishes user story acceptance criteria, accepts user stories, refines stories with Scrum teams.

Reviews and provides feedback on test plans to ensure application changes meet acceptance criteria.

Creates Sprint Release Plans with input from development teams.

Monitors the development progress and provides updates to stakeholders as requested.

Leads planning and review meetings to communicate feedback on development achievements.

Interacting with product owners and product managers to define/translate requirements and modifications into product designs

Maintain and develop knowledge of treasury requirements and current regulations that apply to our current and prospective clients.

What you will need:

Knowledge of financial services industry

Basic understanding of Payments (electronic fund transfer-EFT, payments), Gateway and Cash Mmanagement.

General IT knowledge, be able to communicate technical concepts concisely and effectively.

Strong communication and people skills

Strong work ethic, and responsive to internal and external clients and contacts

Sound analytical, and problem-solving skills.

A high degree of numeracy and a capacity for complex concepts.

A team player, which can also work independently under minimum supervision

Ability to work under pressure, achieve deadlines and effectively prioritise concurrent tasks

Possesses the desire to increase knowledge and skills when circumstances call for additional learning.

Added bonus if you have:

Background with Corporate treasury, finance knowledge, payment processing or banking is a big plus.

The Certified Scrum Product Owner professional certification is preferred

Experience in a SaaS environment.

Experience with the agile development process

Extensive knowledge of ISO20022

Sound knowledge of SWIFT/MT/MX messaging and flows

Experience working with APIs (understand schema, principle, integration and exceptions)
