In one sentence

The Product Owner leads the feature/US/product scope, ensuring that product requirements/ customer needs are accurately handed over to dev team and met. Responsible to get the Features AKA Backlog from the DSE and work on the grooming/refinement, work on them based on the definition as well priority, and maintain the backlog based on business value. Analyze the business requirement and business need, providing high and detailed level solutions that leverage product capabilities and best practices. Product Owner lead the Demo to the customer ensuring business requirement.

What will your job look like?

1. Backlog grooming and planning – Gathers and understands business requirements, translates business requirements or product roadmap into manageable backlog, documents the
features/stories.
2. Responsible for defining/writing User Stories in EPICs and prioritizing the scrum team Backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity for the team.
3. Represent customer requirements when defining the solution
4. Refine the project backlog (features and user stories)
5. Demonstrate solution to relevant business and IT client lead
6. Provide input for the business processes
7. Ensure the developed items meet the customer’s requirements
8. Should learn and leverage from the Amdocs Delivery methodologies and best practices
9. Should consume from and contribute to common reusable solutions repository
10. Should provide the product enhancement feedback to Amdocs Technology
11. Builds the backlog (creation, prioritization and breakdown), details features and changes in scope requirements; Responsible for all functional and non-functional aspects, including defining clear ‘acceptance’ criteria; Consults with customer/ product manager and multiple stakeholders across all working streams; Participates in estimations, definition and/or refinement for projects, features, and
stories.
12. Release/PI Planning – Takes an active part in the PI/ Release planning
13. Execution and Support – Supports the development/scrum teams and provides ongoing early feedback, business clarifications, adjustments for risk, reprioritizations based on DSE action, changes in scope and approves 'done' stories; Reviews and approves all design gaps and/or enhancement suggestions driven by relevant stakeholders (external and/or internal); Takes an active part in all planning and retrospective activities.
14. Leads the scope items under her/his domain throughout the project/ product lifecycle; Represents the customer/product manager, aligns and connects all stakeholders, creates business value. And ensures the team is building the right solution and delivering the expected items; Provides ongoing feedback to Product management and other stakeholders to ensure requirements are met. Leads and facilitates internally and participate in the external sessions, challenges business requirements and obtains stakeholder approval of the proposed product/solution.
15. Owns and/or supports product/solution implementation readiness activities such as training, documentation, and so on.
16. Should be aware of estimation and work closely with DSE to identify/review the correct estimates to be provided in User Stories

All you need is...
