As a Product Owner for TQL, you serve as the voice of the customer to guide development teams in building software capabilities with the highest business and customer impact. You represent the needs and priorities of the organization, prioritize and manage the product backlog, and guide continuous product improvements through feedback from stakeholders.

What you will be doing:  

\n\nAct as the voice of the customer to guide all stages of software development, including user story development, sprint planning and prioritization of the product backlog \nUnderstand business and end-user needs; identify and prioritize features to be delivered to meet those needs \nWork with business and technical stakeholders to develop and document user stories \nParticipate in sprint planning to determine the team’s objectives for the upcoming sprint \nPrioritize and maintain the product backlog \nParticipate in agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, story refinements and team retrospectives to ensure the team has a clear understanding of priorities and next steps \nLead the sprint review meetings to present the output from the sprint to key stakeholders \nAnalyze feedback from sprint reviews, and other data such as end user feedback and operational metrics to identify and understand product needs \nWork with the development team to create acceptance criteria and definitions of failures and done \nAssist the team on the development of feature tests, test cases and regression tests \nSet expectations with business stakeholders for delivery of new capabilities, features and functionalities

What you need:  

\n\nBachelor’s degree preferred \nKnowledge of Information Technology required \nAt least 3 years of experience in a Product Owner role preferred \nProduct Owner certifications (e.g. Certified Scrum Product Owner, SAFe Product Owner Certification) a plus \nAbility to understand complex business problems and identify and interpret business needs \nAdvanced knowledge of agile development methodologies \nStrong influence, facilitation and collaboration skills with ability to effectively communicate with a variety of disciplines and diverse groups of people \nExceptional work ethic, organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills
