We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Owner to lead the development and delivery of data solutions that directly serve the business needs. As the Product Owner, you will be responsible for ensuring that business stakeholders get the data products and services they need, facilitating agile processes, and managing the end-to-end lifecycle of data product delivery.
This position is located at a client site in Ft Lauderdale, FL; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
**Your future duties and responsibilities:**
• Agile Leadership: Facilitate and lead agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, ensuring that the team is aligned and focused on delivering high-quality data products.
• Backlog Management: Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that business requirements are clearly defined, understood, and aligned with strategic goals.
• Business Requirement Documentation: Collaborate with stakeholders to document business requirements, capturing both functional and non-functional needs, and ensuring they are well understood by the development teams.
• Current State Analysis: Capture and document the current state of data infrastructure and processes to identify areas of improvement and opportunities for new data solutions.
• Tracking & Reporting: Utilize Azure DevOps to track progress, monitor sprint outcomes, and ensure timely delivery of data products.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to continuously assess and validate the business’s data needs, ensuring alignment with the overall product vision.
**Required qualifications to be successful in this role:**
• Business Analysis Experience: A strong background in business analysis, with a deep understanding of how data supports business operations and decision-making.
• Agile Methodology Expertise: Experience in running agile ceremonies and working with agile teams to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Data Product Focus: Experience in managing data as a product, ensuring the delivery of data solutions that serve business needs (excluding data governance).
• Strong Communication Skills: Excellent ability to communicate with both technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity on requirements.
• Tool Proficiency: Proficient in Azure DevOps or similar project management and tracking tools.
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $89,300 - $208,300.
