ART Product Owner
Duties: Lead team scrums to define product vision for electronic locking assemblies, roadmap, and growth opportunities, and communicate with stakeholders throughout the project. Collaborate with internal and external contacts to analyze needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals, ensure product backlog is transparent and understood. Work closely with product managers and business teams to create and maintain product backlog according to business value or ROI. Remain up to date on trends and best practices for agile project management. Plan and prioritize product development and product feature backlog. Develop detailed product feature specifications with clearly testable acceptance criteria and ensure they’re clearly understood by relevant teams. Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work aligns with product strategy. Mitigate roadblocks to achieving sprint/release goals. Mediate between product managers, architects, and developers to ensure feature / story requirements are complete and implemented to the acceptance criteria of done. Lead the product-release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities. Serve as product ambassador internally and externally, sharing knowledge and answering questions.
Requirements: Requires 5 years of experience in any job title/occupation/position involving exercising agile methodology in embedded systems. Experience specified must include each of the following: 5 years of experience determining business value related to features and functions of the products under development; 5 years of experience with New Product Development; 4 years of experience with Electronic lock assemblies; and 2 years of experience as a product owner for a scrum team or an Agile Release Train involving product development. Requires up to 10% domestic/international travel.
