The Environment

The Digital Lab is responsible for the solutioning, development & implementation of booking & servicing flows of EMEA airlines, in close partnership with the airline Digital team of UX designers, business analysts, testers, data analysts and airline partners

Today the airline backlog in addressed by scrum teams in Nice and Istanbul.

The roadmap is prepared and planned with the airline in a collaborative manner for the year ahead and is comprised of small topics to extra-large projects involving front-end redesign as well as integration of third-party systems. Projects are taken from feasibility and solutioning through to cut-over and post cutover support.

The Digital Lab is comprised of project owners, quality engineers, scrum masters, front-end developers.

Job Description

Accountabilities

As the product owner of the scrum team, you will,

Understand, identify and define customer needs

Use your deep airline & digital product knowledge and product owner experience to transform the requirements of the airline into detailed requirements. This will involve interacting with a range of stakeholders from various products used in the solution, including non-functional requirements such as security, operations & support need

Interact with stakeholders to elaborate and well describe the feature feeding the team backlog

Support the product features definition (scoping)

With the support of the Agile team, lead the definition and prioritization of the team backlog, based on the customer needs, urgency and value, to deliver based on market and business needs

Manage, prioritize and communicate the flow of work

Ensure the features and user stories backlogs are reprioritized before each release and sprint planning session

Constantly align and communicate with respective agile counterparts and leadership team

Ensure user stories are mature enough to be executed and tested clearly

The product owner plays a key role in ongoing testing efforts and accepts deliveries according to expectations expressed

Participate to Agile events & ceremonies

Define program increment (PI) SMART Objectives

Accept stories prior to the sprint review

Actively participate to team coordination meetings, PO synchronization meetings, draft plan reviews and management meeting

Actively participate to System demos as well as Inspect & Adapt workshops as part of SAFe

Attend the events and sharing sessions organized by the Community of Practice of Product Owners

About the Ideal Candidate

Experience in the Product Owner role.

Experience with airline Digital/Amadeus digital solutions is an advantage.

Previous experience in a Digital Lab would be a plus.
