You will guide and influence the team to ensure the solution they deliver achieves the desired business objectives and meets the needs of our customers.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
+ Provide the **voice of the customer** to the team to ensure they understand how the work they are doing relates to the needs of the business and our customers.
+ **Collaborate with your team** to define the team’s objectives and ensure the team remains focused on meeting those objectives.
+ Work with product managers to **define features** for development in the future.
+ **Own the team’s backlog** and **prioritize user stories** to meet the needs of the business and our customer in the most effective way possible.
+ Identify, manage, and **coordinate** **dependencies** with other teams.
+ **Actively seek feedback** from business stakeholders and relay it to the team

For This Role, You Will Need:
+ Bachelor’s degree in a field related to Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
+ 8-10 years’ experience in process control industry with at least 5 years in a Product Owner role, handling and delivering medium to large projects, systems, or programs working with or within a technology division, with exposure to software product development
+ Solid domain knowledge of process control and the application to control systems
+ Technical savvy for working with software developers and testers and understanding technical specifications of the product
+ Problem-solving and analytical abilities to interpret customer needs into functional specifications and user stories
+ Communication skills to comfortably work with partners across the organization including executive management, decision-makers, developers, testers, and project managers
+ Experience with agile methodologies, Scrum, SAFe, product strategy, business analysis, product roadmap
+ Experience with Visio, Lucid chart; DevOps, UX, wireframing
+ Technical savvy for working with software developers and testers and understanding technical specifications of the product
+ Problem-solving and analytical abilities to interpret customer needs into functional specifications and user stories
+ Communication skills to comfortably work with partners across the organization including executive management, decision-makers, developers, testers, and project managers
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart
+ Experience in developing products that integrate software on multiple platforms with proprietary hardware
+ Experience with ISO-certified processes and audits, secure lifecycle development, and/or development of products for use in a SIL environment
+ SAFe / Product Owner Certification
