Summary & Role Information
You will engage with sales business and your feature, scrum team in order to design, implement and evolve solutions for sales processes to boost SAP's sales and revenue. Leveraging SAP's latest Cloud- and Platform technologies. SAP's account executives and sales teams are your primary persona and customer. Your work has a direct impact to SAP’s top line growth, targeted to reach more than €35B by 2025.
What you will do:
As a product owner for sales solutions you will be part of an agile scrum team within one of our delivery units. You are responsibility for business engagement, functional decomposition of business requirements and solution evaluation and design with technical experts of your team. You’ll shape the future SAP deal execution process and sales solution design. You’ll consider process flow, end to end value chains and end user experience in your solution design. And drive continuous improvements with a focus on automation, stability, usability and maintainability. You’re accountable for automation and process performance measurement via Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and Process Performance Indicators (PPI’s). Responsible for signing off on processes and vetting with your business counterparts. Demonstrate excellent communication skills in negotiation and alignment with stakeholders in business and engineering. You are accountable to embed automation testing in your product in close collaboration with our Quality experts. You should be aware of what “shift-left” in terms on quality management means. Develop skills and competencies on latest customer experience solutions, specifically in SAP's solution portfolio. Work collaboratively, preferably co-located with your scrum team.
What you’ll bring:
A passion for SAP cloud technology powered, efficient business solutions and processes. Minimum 3-5 years deep experience with business process design and requirements management as a product owner or business analyst with focus on sales/deal execution or sales related functions. Minimum 2 year experience with SAP solution portfolio, preferable customer experience solutions incl. Sales or service cloud and SAP CPQ. Practical knowledge engaging with business and engineering teams to understand, decompose, design and deliver business capabilities into software solutions Bachelor or Master of Engineering/Technology (B.E./B.Tech), or Business Administration or a comparable degree Knowledge of SAP broader cloud solution portfolio Experience in Agile Software Engineering and delivery methodology (scrum, SAFe) and tools for requirements management (e.g. Jira, Mural) Entry Level proficiency in observability (e.g. ELK stack) and test automation toolsets (e.g. playwright) Fluent in English, German optional
