The Product Owner operates within the US Patient Support Business Solutions Team and is responsible for facilitating change, including partnering closely with operations, brand partners, subject matter experts, and technical resources to identify business needs, define project requirements, and liaise with the solution's development through implementation.
Essential Job Functions:
Collaborate with the US Patient Support Operations and Strategy teams to identify and articulate business needs, translating these into functional and actionable requirements as user stories.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the functional content and business processes across all US Patient Support functions. This includes operating the contact center for reimbursement, medical services, and affordability programs provided to patients through CRM, IVR, and field reporting.
Familiarity with digital engagement platforms, omnichannel tools, and CRM systems.
Guide technological change by implementing sustainable practices using the Scaled Agile business methodology in the role of product owner.
Assist Project Managers and Directors with project-related activities as needed.
Ensure that platform configurations and customizations align with the requirements of patient support programs.
Oversee the development and enhancement of patient support programs, ensuring they align with access strategies and comply with relevant regulations.
Essential for the Role
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience on a software or process improvement delivery team.
+ 5 years of experience eliciting and defining business requirements with business partners, including leading Requirements Elicitation sessions.
+ 2 years of experience implementing integrations with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools and IVR contact centers.
Hands-on experience in writing user stories using the INVEST model.
Ability to align technology solutions with business goals to deliver measurable value.
Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Capable of multitasking and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficient in prioritizing work assignments, communicating progress, and delivering on time.
Open-minded, collaborative, and eager to learn and grow quickly.
Experienced in leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts and approving completed development work on behalf of the business.
Skilled in creating mockups and wireframes.
Familiar with Agile methodology.

Proficient in creative thinking and making recommendations for improving current processes.
Extensive knowledge and experience with healthcare applications and technology.
Experienced in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications.
Capable of leading initiatives across multiple workstreams.
Agile-related certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, SAFe Product Owner) are a plus.
