About Our Opportunity The Product Owner of Commercial Loan Servicing (CLS) serves as the primary liaison between business users, project teams, and vendors in the design, development, and ongoing evolution of business systems that enable the Associations' loan servicing processes. This role will require an in-depth knowledge of the Associations' lending processes and the business system(s) they support. Additionally, the Product Owner serves as the business expert in the design, development, and implementation of the business systems that support the Association's accounting and loan servicing processes. They work closely with cross-functional teams, such as finance, accounting, treasury, operations, sales, compliance, legal, risk, marketing, and technology delivery teams, to ensure that the product meets the end user customer needs and business objectives. The Product Owner is involved in all stages of the product lifecycle, from ideation and research, through to launch and post-launch analysis. They gather customer feedback and market data to inform product strategy and make data-driven decisions. Additionally, the Product Owner is responsible for defining and communicating product requirements, setting priorities, and managing the product roadmap. How You Will Spend Your Time + Works with key stakeholders to develop the long-term product strategy, vision and roadmap that aligns with association strategic imperatives and marketplace needs. + Develops industry awareness and relationships that help inform competitive strategies and future roadmap functionality. + Oversees the product development process, from ideation to post-production innovation, while emphasizing customer experience, process innovation, strategic functionality, innovation and return on investment. + Drives awareness of business system and process dependencies and facilitates resolution across business systems when necessary. + Participates in agile ceremonies such as planning, discovery, and retrospectives to ensure the delivery team has a shared understanding of product work. + Approves go-live and promotion to production schedules and testing sign-off. + Tracks and communicates progress, deadlines & constraints for product work. + Works closely with business stakeholders and Quality Assurance (QA) in developing user scenarios as needed. + Monitors and analyzes product performance, including usage metrics, customer feedback, and competitive analysis. + Maintains the product backlog and evaluates business value of potential product enhancements. + Collaborates with stakeholders to create change management plans. Minimum Education & Experience Associate's Degree in business administration, finance, statistics, computer science, or related field is required. Bachelor's Degree in business administration, finance, statistics, computer science, or related field is preferred. Plus a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience with demonstrated project management and consultative skills. Demonstrated experiences typically include: + Ability to work independently with general supervision. + Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex. + May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices. + Ability to drive progress in successfully meeting project milestones. Mental & Physical Requirements While engaged in this position, team members will routinely sit, use hands for tasks, and communicate orally. Standing or walking is frequently required, while occasional demands include reaching with hands and arms, and lifting or moving up to ten pounds. Vision requirements encompass close and distance vision. The work environment typically has a moderate noise level. This role may entail a blend of mental and physical capabilities, requiring strong mental acuity, problem-solving skills, and occasional physical tasks such as standing, lifting, or extended computer usage.
