We are currently looking for a CMS Product Owner to join us at our facility in Łódz, Poland. This position will oversee the development, implementation, and ongoing optimization of our Content Management System. As the CMS Product Owner, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the CMS aligns with business objectives and delivers a seamless user experience. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of CMS platforms, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to prioritize features and enhancements based on business value.
Key responsibilities:
CMS Platform Management:Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, define features, and prioritize the backlog to ensure alignment with business goals.Oversee the implementation of new features, updates, and integrations, ensuring they meet business needs and technical specifications.Stakeholder Collaboration:Collaborate with marketing, IT, and other business units to ensure the CMS supports content strategies and user engagement goals.Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and development teams, facilitating clear communication and expectations.Product Development:Lead the development process, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and ensure that development teams have a clear understanding of requirements.Continuously refine and adjust the product backlog based on changing priorities and feedback.User Experience and Performance Optimization:Focus on enhancing the user experience by optimizing content workflows, improving site performance, and ensuring the CMS is user-friendly for content authors.Conduct regular user testing and gather feedback to inform future enhancements and updates.Data-Driven Decision Making:Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the CMS, such as site performance, user engagement, and content effectiveness.Use data insights to make informed decisions about feature prioritization and platform improvements.Documentation and Training:Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for the CMS, including user guides, best practices, and feature descriptions.Provide training and support to content authors, ensuring they are equipped to use the CMS effectively.Key requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field. Relevant certifications in Agile or Product Management are a plus.3+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on CMS platforms. Strong understanding of CMS platforms, with hands-on experience in at least one major CMS (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Sitecore, Adobe AEM).Proven experience as a Product Owner, within a digital or content-focused area. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience leading cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.Familiarity with web development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and how they integrate with CMS platforms.Experience with SEO best practices and how to implement them within a CMS.Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on digital content and user experience.Skills: excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal skill, ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders, strong analytical skills, ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions, proactive problem-solving abilities, continuous improvement and innovation.
