The Position
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Owner to lead our Data Ingest Framework (DIFW) platform. This role is pivotal within the Data Engineering part of the Central Data and Analytics organization. You will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining the DIFW product and its application across various analytical initiatives within our company. What will you do?
Drive strategy for the product from financial, resourcing, delivery, and technology perspectives.Gather and analyze feedback from stakeholders, ensure that the product meets the needs of our customers.Cooperate with other product leads, architecture leads, and platform leads across various divisions and programs to gather feedback, maintain a collaborative environment, and define user requirements.Drive and influence how tools, technologies, and good engineering practices around Batch ingestion are defined and maintained.Participate in daily scrum meetings, sprint planning, and sprint reviews with the product development team.Define and prioritize backlog items and product features, ensuring that they are aligned with the product vision and goals.Create and maintain epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and other processes and workflows to support the development team and improve the product development process.Work closely with the adoption team to manage incoming divisional demands, prioritize roadmap items, and maintain the robustness of existing solutions.Set up short and long-term goals and priorities for the product, in close cooperation with other product and product line leads.Maintain TCO and cost optimization as one of the product priorities and educate the team on similar lines.Understand the overall Data & Analytics priorities and bring related significances to the Ingestion platform.Act as the primary point of contact for the development team and stakeholders regarding product-related issues.Retain and attract diverse and exceptional talent within the team and create/maintain an inclusive environment.Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required
Solid experience with AWS services (S3, IAM, Redshift, Glue, Lambdas, CloudWatch) and DatabricksProficient in Python, Spark – PySpark, GitHubUnderstanding of API services, GitHub actions, and Airflow orchestrationWorking knowledge of Git/Bitbucket/Jira/ConfluenceStrong knowledge of Agile development methodologies, particularly ScrumAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a geographically dispersed environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishCustomer-focused with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creativelyDetail-oriented and able to manage multiple prioritiesCollaborative with a proven experience driving and/or influencing a global cross-functional technical team effectivelySolid knowledge of product design, user experience and software development processes/best practicesWhat we offer:
