Job Summary:

Under general supervision, this position acts as the representative of stakeholders to manage product backlogs and review iteration outcomes to ensure the business success of software development projects. Owns the most complex products and provides support to the Client, verifying the business value delivered by the Product and how it aligns with the Client's strategy. They actively support the Client from the business point of view and provides guidance in assessing Product opportunities and risks. They take advantage of the Product KPIs (and other business metrics) to optimize the Product.

Key Responsibilities:

Works closely with the Client, defining the next iterations of the Product and plan their releases; presents the Team’s perspective and point of view to the Client, and build trust between the two sidesContributes to the design of UX workflows for the productTrains other junior staff and ensuring appropriate agile processes are being followed to facilitate product successProvides inputs for applications technical designs and data models to deliver user-friendly product solutionsUses dedicated techniques for road mapping (e.g. MOSCOW, Kano, or Pareto) and selected tools to describe the Product vision (e.g. business model canvas, lean canvas, or vision box)Provides strategic focus for the development team, to ensure the right things to be focused on and completed during the development process; organizes workshops with the Product’s users (based on the Discover/Define approach) to discover and validate hypotheses, as well as work with architecture the best solutions for the ProductEvaluates the KPI metrics and suggests new solutions to increase the Product’s business value. Verifies the business value delivered by the Product and how it aligns with the Client’s strategy

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Business, Computer and Information Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or foreign equivalent, or suitable combination of education, experience and training;Plus 5 or more years of experience acting as a Product Owner and/or certification in Agile fundamentals.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of Agile process and principlesKnows and embodies Scrum valuesUnderstands Product Owner involvement in Scrum eventsExperience drafting and elaborating backlog items

Compensation:

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.  This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company’s bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
