The Product Owner is responsible for defining and implementing strategic vision for Global Clinical Operation reporting and analytics products. Through cross-functional collaboration, the product owner will collect business needs and translate them into requirements that the team can develop. They will prioritize the requirements that are most critical, manage the development of product meeting those needs, and drive consumer adoption of product once it is released. In addition, they will ensure that the reporting and analytics product data is clean, secure, and adheres to governance policies **What You’ll Work On** + Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand business processes, identify opportunities for leveraging data to solve problems and give insight, and drive business solutions. + Perform business analysis to identify reporting and analytics requirements and ensure that they align with business strategy and objectives. + Define and prioritize product backlog items, balancing stakeholder requirements with team resources + Drive the planning, execution, and delivery of analytics projects, ensuring that the team is working on the highest-priority items. + Develop user stories and acceptance criteria to clearly communicate the business needs to the team. + Work closely with the Scrum Master and development team to ensure execution to User Stories + Monitor the effectiveness of analytics products post-implementation and use feedback to inform future improvements. + Responsible for identifying and investigating emerging new product opportunities within a defined range of responsibility. + Responsible for maintaining knowledge of new trends and products in the appropriate markets. **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree + Minimum 4 years’ experience. **Preferred** **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Data Analytics or related field. + Prior experience in Product Owner, Business Analyst or similar role, with a focus on data or analytics. + Experience with Agile methodology; PowerBI development experience a plus + Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization. + Demonstrated leadership skills with respect to achievement of company goals and objectives. + Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model. Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment. + An understanding of clinical research with previous experience within a clinical or corporate setting or relevant clinical experience in a clinical/hospital environment + Problem solving skills (including taking ownership to ensure timely resolution), a strong sense of urgency and the ability to successfully execute in an environment under time and resource pressures.
