Product Owner (Sr Staff), ERP System Architecture and Infrastructure

**Description:** Our organization is in a critical phase of maturing our enterprise resource planning \(ERP\) platform\. As we continue to scale and integrate new business areas, we require an experienced Product Owner to lead the strategy and development of our core ERP architecture and infrastructure\. This role will bridge the gap between our business needs and core SAP technical teams, ensuring that our ERP system is not just a tool for today, but a scalable, secure, and high\-performing foundation for future growth\. Without a dedicated owner for this area, we risk technical debt, integration failures, and a system that can’t support our strategic initiatives\. This position is essential to maximize the value of our significant investment in the ERP platform\. The Product Owner for ERP System Architecture and Infrastructure will be a strategic leader responsible for defining the vision, roadmap, and successful delivery of all core SAP technical components\. This includes the underlying infrastructure, integration frameworks, security protocols, and architectural standards\. This person will have a broad SAP background as well as strong experience as an AGILE Product Owner \(PO\)\.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Strategic Planning:
\- Define and communicate the long\-term vision and strategy for the ERP system's architecture and infrastructure, ensuring it aligns with business goals and enterprise\-wide technology standards\.
• AGILE Process Management:
\- Lead team PI Planning quarterly
\- Own, prioritize, and groom the product backlog for the ERP technical team
\- Writing clear user stories and epics that outline requirements for system enhancements, upgrades, and new integrations\.
• Stakeholder Communication:
\- Act as a primary liaison between business stakeholders, the ERP development team, and enterprise architecture\.
• Technical Oversight:
\- Work closely with ART and SCRUM Team technologists to make informed decisions on technology choices, system design, and security best practices\.
• Roadmap and Releases:
\- Manage and communicate the ERP infrastructure roadmap, coordinate system upgrades and releases, and ensure new features are deployed with minimal disruption\.
• Performance and Scalability:
\- Monitor and analyze system performance to proactively identify and address potential bottlenecks and capacity issues\.
• Risk Management:
\- Identify and mitigate technical risks, security vulnerabilities, and compliance issues related to the ERP system and its integrations\.
**Basic Qualifications:**

• ERP Expertise:
\- Proven experience as a Product Owner, Architect, or similar role with a focus on large\-scale ERP systems \(e\.g\., SAP, Oracle, etc\)\.
• Technical Acumen:
\- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, cloud infrastructure \(e\.g\., Azure, AWS\), databases, and data integration technologies\.
• Agile Methodology:
\- Deep knowledge of Agile principles and experience managing product backlogs within a Scrum or Kanban framework\.
\- Strong AGILE Product Owner background
• Communication Skills:
\- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to "translate" complex technical concepts for non\-technical stakeholders\.
\- Proven ability to negotiate and set direction in stressful situations
• Problem\-Solving:
\- A proactive and analytical mindset, with a knack for identifying and solving complex system and business problems\.
**Desired Skills:**
• Product Owner certification \(e\.g\., SAFE\)\.
• Experience with outsourcing of technology and coordination / facilitation with the outsourcer
• Experience with ERP security and governance frameworks\.
• Experience with coordination and interfacing with SAP NS2 hosting solution
• Experience in a regulated industry, such as Aerospace and Defense\.

**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
**Pay Rate:** The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $141,300 \- $244,835\. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location\. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only\. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as \(but not limited to\) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer\. **Benefits offered:** Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short\-Term Disability, Long\-Term Disability, 401\(k\) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays\. This position is incentive plan eligible\.
**Pay Rate:** The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York \(excluding most major metropolitan areas\), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $122,900 \- $216,660\. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location\. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only\. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as \(but not limited to\) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer\. **Benefits offered:** Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short\-Term Disability, Long\-Term Disability, 401\(k\) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays\. \(Washington state applicants only\) Non\-represented full\-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off \(PTO\) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays\. Represented full time employees accrue 6\.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays\. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year\. This position is incentive plan eligible\.
