We are seeking an Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Tactical Integrated System(TIS) Software(SW) Development Team Product Owner (PO) to join our team as a member of the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office. The PO will be responsible for the prioritization and validation of the development software for the TIS team. The TIS team is responsible for the identification and classification of tracks in the C2 (Command and Control) software.
Responsibilities Reviewing and understanding Systems Engineering concepts, designs, and algorithms, and providing guidance to the development team.Working with Program management in setting priorities for the capabilities and defects of the team for each product increment and sprint Technical briefings and advisement to leadership on the status and recommended courses of action, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts on the IFMC missionOther duties as assigned. QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
The candidate must be a US citizen.The ability to work onsite, up to full time, depending upon client needsBachelor’s degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences or mathematicsA good understanding of CID (Classification, Identification, and Discrimination) used in C2 systems, including IFF, ADS-B, Air Tasking Orders, and NCTRThe ability to provide oversight to the development team and verify the team's work based on agreed-upon acceptance criteria, including attending code reviewsBe able to work directly with the Agile software developersFluency in the Microsoft Office toolsetMinimum of 7 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed aboveDoD Secret clearance, and the ability to maintain it throughout employmentDesired Qualifications:
