We are seeking a staff to senior level Packaging Engineer for our Debrecen Hungary location! This is an opportunity to work with a global engineering team!  Our team focuses on implementing protective product packaging to support the launch of our new products.  

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Design, develop and test a wide range of product packaging for electronic equipment that optimize protection, cost, environmental impact and customer experience Create packaging drawings and detailed specifications Work with a multi-functional team as an integral part of product launch Work with manufacturing to support packaging  Interact with Packaging Suppliers and support component and product quality initiatives Project management

You are a highly motivated individual that likes to problem solve and communicate with a team.  You should also be able to iterate design choices and adapt to demanding customer needs.  You should be able to manage and organize several projects at the same time.
 

For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar field CAD design experience 2D and 3D applications (ArtiosCAD, AutoCAD & Creo) Ability to present ideas to internal customers Proficient in written and spoken English and Hungarian Project management skills

  Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Knowledge of corrugated board design to fabricate boxes and corrugated cushioning Knowledge of fabricated foam design Packaging performance testing knowledge Wooden crate design experience Working with packaging suppliers  Experience in reducing packaging cost and materials
