The Product Portfolio Director is responsible for supporting various business segments through the development, management and go-to-market execution of world-class products and services which enables Enterprise Mobility employees to deliver best in class service to our customers. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate that has a passion for changing the way employee needs are met through the development and launch of innovative solutions and services, user-centric designs, and what-if creative thinking.

The Product Portfolio Director sets the vision for a large set of business-critical product lines, including the development of product strategies and roadmaps, leading new product introductions and achieving key performance metrics for the business.  This role is responsible for leading and inspiring a growing product management team which supports multiple global product portfolios and strategic initiatives. This role requires cross-functional leadership by working closely and collaborating with Product Strategy and Development, Customer Experience, IT, various levels of business stakeholders as well as third-party vendors to communicate the product road map and support efforts around messaging and delivery for a portfolio of products.

 

This position is located at our Corporate Headquarters in Clayton, MO, and requires a minimum of four days a week in office.

Responsibilities Define the product strategy and road map in accordance with Product Development methodology and processes; ensure the vision for all products in their product suite meets business objectivesEnsure solutions to problems, as well as business goals and objectives, represent the customers' viewpoint on a day-to-day basis across multiple products to confirm harmonization of the product suiteDirect product life cycles from product introduction to end-of-lifeCommunicate business needs and desired outcomes to team and drive initiatives from inception to releaseEstablish and manage a data-driven approach to develop product scorecards; Manage scorecards through line reviews to evaluate product health and growth for all productsDevelop direct reports to their full potential through training, coaching and feedback; Provide guidance on the development of indirect reports, which may include multiple reporting layers; Work with individuals on the team to create training and learning opportunities and cultivate strengths and talents; Assist in resources planning and staffing for the team, anticipating needs for additional resources and personnel through forecasting and budgetingUnderstand business strategy from executive team to ensure Product team alignmentDevelop strategic business case for product suite efforts and obtain organizational supportMonitor competitor activities and collect competitive information; Deliver collected data to internal stakeholders to support strategic and tactical business planningDirect the launch of new products in partnership with cross-functional business partners on product design, buy-in, and key decisionsEnsure the product team implements a comprehensive process for identifying user needs and feedback, and recommend product enhancements to address unmet needs of the customer and/or improve competitive advantageSeek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal settingMaintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctualityPerform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum:

Must have a Bachelor's Degree (Business, Marketing, Technology, or applicable field preferred)Must have 10+ years’ experience as a Product Manager, Technical Project Manager or Business Analyst (or a combination of those roles)Must have management experience including leading multiple projects, product managers or ownersMust be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
