Responsibilities
Leads the Commercial Product & Pricing Center of Excellence Leadership Team, which is cross functional including Business Product Directors and core CoE staff. Key responsibilities include building corporate product and pricing capabilities that deliver. More specifically:
Develop, execute and maintain the Product and Pricing commercial capability roadmap for Eastman that enables our vision to be a world-leading material innovation company Translating business strategy into effectively executed product line, asset and stream strategies that deliver targeted ROIC for the business Leading competitive intelligence for targeted product lines and aligns product strategies Monitoring external dynamics of raw materials, suppliers, industry supply/demand balances and adapts to changing conditions. Identifying and execution of projects to improve health of product portfolio and expand gross margin Providing input to the development of multi-year targets aligned with the SBU and provides input to performance reviews (SQ, MYBR, and Ops Reviews) Developing annual goals, targets and objectives aligned to the SBU Selecting, coaching, and retaining a high-performing team of talented product management and pricing professionals to execute and deliver business outcomes Creates a high performing and inclusive culture that enables everyone to contribute to their fullest potential Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree technical or business required. MBA degree preferred.
• 10+ years experience in a combination of sales, marketing, product & pricing management, finance, supply chain
• Product and pricing management experience is key
• Complex project leadership experience and capability
• Training in key improvement and problem-solving methods and tools (such as Six Sigma or Lean)
• Demonstrated experience driving differentiated outcomes in product management and pricing
Outcome driven performance demonstrated through at least 2 of the following functions:
• Product / Price / Stream Management – Required for all candidates
• Marketing
• Sales
• Supply Chain
• Procurement
