Precipart is looking for a Product Quality Intern to join our Product Quality team. As a Product Quality Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in quality improvement initiatives by leading efforts to prevent nicks and dents in precision parts, developing training and visual management tools, and supporting cross-functional collaboration to enhance material handling processes. Spring Internship Opportunity 12 Weeks: Monday, February 10, 2025 through Friday, May 2, 2025 Hours: 10- 20 hours per week Responsibilities: + Assess trays and material handling and material transporting-review prototypes to cover trays with a lining and explore new material handling techniques. + Develop a site wide training for Nicks and Dents/proper handling parts and all MFG and support functions + Create robust visuals for material handling expectations pertaining to Nicks ad Dents prevention and ensure posted on all Visual Management tools for awareness. Requirements: + Preferred Major: Industrial/ Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, or Supply Chain + Innovative/creative thinker + Comfortable public speaking
