General Description

Product Quality Manager (Pd-QM) to ensure the production locations in creating and sustaining customer satisfaction during series and after series product lifetime, supports all the quality related topics starting at launch phase that are related to the quality product design and quality manufacturing concept in alignment with Project Quality Manager and Quality team in production, the tasks of the Pd-QM are predominantly of preventive nature, the CPQM ensures that customer quality requirements are incorporated early in the projects and takes care of the warranty management process.

 

Your Key Responsabilities Ensure/lead Customer communication on design specific related quality topics. Supports locations towards customers claims and warranty issues. Responsible for technical factor acceptance in collaboration with CQ/QMPP support the negotiation Ensure transparent Quality report for relevant Quality KPI´S for the assigned Product Line Support of production location in case of quality issues and or customer escalations Ensures link to QMPP in the assigned manufacturing locations, especially in case of crisis and ensures consistency of information and communication towars customer(s) Monitor quality target setting and deploy action item traching for achievement of quality targets, Add: reporting (field monitoring, KPI´S. failure Pareto´s....) Consolidate and check nonconformance costs for products/customers (NCC´s) Ensure read across for all affected locations and support changes affecting several locations WW. Active role on supporting claim management  8D Champion / 8D release for new failure modes related to design, critical issues Drive preventive and corrective measures from incidents and field performance related to design The product QM drive the field monitor impact by delivered parts, lead and drive cross functional activates if needed to achieve the improvements Secure the lessons learned are applied Ensure the legal, customer quality and internal VT process requirements are followed and integrated into worlwide business processes (e.g. Escalation process, TCM, etc.) As well method and tools  Authority to escalate in case deviations on manufacturing process or field performance  Ensures the production location in TCMS process are conducted during serial life (inc. customer specific requirements) Ensures dictated process tools are used and respected  Coordinate risk assessment activities for products deviating from Design in serial life, ensure integrity of technical compliance in case of deviation, ensure collective deviations are shared and reflected to design for DTC improvement in series life 

 

Your Qualifications University degree in Engineering and or relevant field  Fluent English language skills written and spoken  Min of 5 Years on Automotive Industry  Min 3 Years of experience in production, development, or quality related activities Experience in leading internal projects  Experience in structured problem solving and related tools preferably (e.g. 8D, 5 Whys, Design of Experiments, FMEA) Experience in all phases of product life Cycle (PLC) Warranty process and OEM´S database analysis experience  Good Analytical reasoning & planning and organization ability Initiative, dedication, and passion for working in a international team
