Join our dynamic team as a Product Reliability Quality Technician! We are seeking a qualified candidate who is passionate about quality assurance and reliability in electronics manufacturing. In this role, you will play a crucial part in analyzing hardware returns to identify failure modes and collaborate across teams to enhance product quality.

What You Will Do: 

\n\n Assist testing process, procedures, and best practices for effective analysis of field return hardware components to identify failure modes \nDocumenting testing processes for new hardware and updating processes as new tests are designed.\nCollaborate on Service Bulletins recommending troubleshooting steps and instructions for workarounds.\nTrain Factory Verification Lab on new test fixtures and processes.\nProvide technical support the Factory Verification Lab.\nInvestigate CDT&R issue related to factory processes.\nDevise sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data\nEvaluations include, troubleshooting electronic PCBA to identify component failures, utilizing cell testing equipment to ensure proper functionality, and identifying assembly errors\nMaintain, troubleshoot, and repair test equipment \nParticipate in problem solving activities to support internal and customer concerns resolution and reduce warranty cost of poor quality.\nUtilize Vontier Business System (VBS) tools to make process / yield improvements\nCompile and evaluate statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products \nPrepare reports, charts, and graphs to communicate outcomes of quality activities\nWork with Quality, Manufacturing, and Design Engineering to conduct trials and tests\nAssist Warranty Return Goods Cell with disposition and control of non-conforming product\n\n

Who You Are: 

\n\nTechnical associate degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience in electronics manufacturing and/or development\n 2+ years of testing of electronic assemblies and sensors down to actual component failure\nFamiliarity with APQP and ISO Quality systems\nGeneral use of electrical and mechanical equipment such as Digital Multimeters, electronic/mechanical gauges and power supplies\nOverall knowledge of soldering components to printed circuit board assemblies\nMust be able to interpret engineering drawings, schematics and specifications\nSelf-driven, highly motivated \nKnowledge of Microsoft Office Suite\n Excellent written and oral communication skills.  \nKnowledge of production practices and test procedures.\n
