Your team 

Located at India Consumer Hub in Mumbai, you will be part of the Product Research Personal Health Care organization and reports to Director, PHC R&D. You will have the opportunity work in multi-functional teams and engage with both internal and external partners.

How success looks like 

Over time, you will be a Personal Health Care product research & new product development specialist. The candidate will be responsible to lead development of deep understanding of product usage experiences, product tensions and gaps / needs across the vast and changing consumer landscape in all India. Utilising and developing cutting edge consumer research techniques to build advanced understanding & predictability using cutting edge data / behavioural science techniques. You will influence the future of health care in India with a sustainable win for P&G in this competitive market. You will work closely with the Product and Packaging development, regulatory, medical affairs, human safety and the commercial teams to design, qualify and execute a pipeline of initiatives, targeted at Indian consumers rooted in insight driven meaningful innovation. You will also be responsible to create new winning products propositions for some of the very successful currently marketed products.

Key Responsibilities  

Develops foundational understanding with regard to established test measures and products that influence and impact consumer responseUnderstand consumer needs and work with multi-functional teams to develop new strategies to delight our consumers. Partner with technologists to develop and test out prototypesAble to place consumer studies based on established study designsAble to prepare products, clearance, coordination with test sitesUnderstanding requirements for study release as needed from multi-functional teamPrepares and executes standard consumer, sensory team tests and technical product testsMake observations of the anomalies and new insights during execution of consumer work, laboratory work and data analysisCapture key insights and technical findings from research projects and share results & recommendations in a clear succinct manner. Responsible for the creation of research proposal, executing the study preparation and placement, as well as conducting thorough analysis, documenting and communicating learnings to provide clear direction for project/ program.Effectively collaborate with commercial MFT on innovation programs both commercial communications and product upgrades

Job Qualifications

·              Master’s degree in pharmacy, Medicine, Science, Engineering, or related fields from atop university with 4-7 years of relevant experience

·              Strong ownership & self-leadership skills to understand the business objective, local context and market landscape to deliver the required outcomes. 

·              Effective oral and written communication skills is a must. 

·              Able to work independently, prioritize and perform in a fast-paced environment. 

·              Excellent problem-solving skills and use of data to connect multiple ideas and develop solutions. 

·              Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with people from different cultures and levels, both internally and externally 

Fluency in written and spoken English is a must
