Product Sales Manager (PSM)

The Product Sales Manager (PSM) will play a pivotal role in driving sales and business development for ZEISS's Industrial Quality Solutions (IQS) division. This position involves managing the sales lifecycle, building customer relationships, and promoting advanced quality and inspection solutions to meet market demands.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales and Business Development :

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.

Identify and approach potential customers in key industries, presenting tailored IQS solutions to address their quality and inspection needs.

Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for customers.

2. Customer Relationship Management :

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers and key stakeholders.

Act as a trusted advisor, understanding customer challenges and aligning solutions with their business objectives.

Provide ongoing support and follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and foster repeat business opportunities.

3. Product Expertise and Promotion :

Maintain a deep understanding of ZEISS IQS product portfolio, including metrology equipment, software, and services.

Conduct product demonstrations, workshops, and training sessions for customers.

Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns tailored to target audiences.

4. Market Analysis and Strategy :

Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to inform sales strategies.

Provide insights and feedback to the product development team to enhance offerings and address emerging customer needs.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in industrial quality solutions, metrology, or a similar technical field.

Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and technologies.

Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and manage complex sales cycles.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Proficient in CRM tools and MS Office applications.

Willingness to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in industries such as automotive, aerospace, medical, or electronics.

Knowledge of ZEISS products or similar metrology solutions.

Multilingual abilities are an advantage.
