Here’s what you’ll do:
Engage new and existing customers to achieve sales booking objectives.Identify and create new sales opportunities to expand the company’s market presence. Identify and share leads with other sales teams and channels to maximize sales potential.Explore innovative ways to support customers and provide exceptional service. Collaborate with various departments to ensure a seamless customer experience and take ownership of customer success.Collaborate closely with our technical team to deliver top-notch product and solution demonstrations.Follow the ZEISS sales process to propose the best solution for the customer’s needs.Support sales and marketing events to promote our products and engage with potential customers.Follow our proven ZEISS Sales Process to tailor the best solutions for customers' specific needs.Keep our CRM system updated with all sales activities, relationships, and the status of sales leads and opportunities.Do you qualify?
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field. A background in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering is preferred.2-5 years of proven experience in technical sales, preferably in the field of metrology or precision measurement systems
Working Environment:
Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex engineering concepts. Ability to articulate technical information in a simplistic and concise manner. Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple customer accounts simultaneously.Ability to reason and negotiate complex challenges.Proactiveness & a strong need to succeed.Having a receptive attitude towards change as well as a willingness to experiment.Fluency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Willingness to travel frequently to customers and industry events. Manage a high level of travel, 50%-75% of the time.
