GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

This position is responsible for scheduling area pipelines, monitoring inventories, and scheduling shipments. Additionally, the Product Scheduler is responsible for reporting and communicating daily inventories, sales, and re-consignments to various departments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Responsible for monthly nominations and forecasting bulk deliveries.

2. Schedule pipelines, shipments and monitor inventories to ensure adequate and optimal product inventory.

3. Communicate with pipelines, refineries regarding inventories, shipments, re­consignments, and reconciling exchanges. Also work closely with the Products Trader and Accounting to identify sales/purchases and correct variances on exchanges, sales, purchases and pipeline movements.

4. Update daily inventory and address target problem areas.

5. Run and balance daily system inventory report or all schedulers.

6. Communicate with exchange partners regarding paybacks and nominations.

7. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Broad knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc. Equivalent to a four year college degree, plus 0 to 6 months related experience and/or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
