We are looking for a Product Security Architect to join our Product Security team within the engineering organization in Airbus Defence and Space in Germany (Manching).
At Product Security, we protect Airbus Defence and Space products against deliberate malicious acts during the whole product lifecycle. Our team is responsible for Product Security Governance and performs technical activities such as compiling security concepts and architecture, performing risk assessments and setting up appropriate requirements.
You will join a growing team that is working in a new and challenging international environment when cyber security is becoming a revolution for the aeronautical industry and a key competence for the company, as well as for the airworthiness authorities and end user operators, for both civil and military applications. Our field of activities ranges from proven platforms such as Tornado or Eurofighter up to the A400M transport aircraft, and covers also the Eurodrone and Future Combat Air System (FCAS) programs.
In your upcoming position you will shape security aspects for unmanned and other manned platforms. This will assure and contribute to security solutions of our products.
You will be a key person in ensuring that the Airbus Defence and Space products and supporting services are protected against cybersecurity threats throughout their entire lifecycle and comply with regulations and requirements. As a Product Security Architect, you are fully embedded in the system engineering process and will define product security architectures and design in accordance to the security scope.
You will act as a Product Security focal point in your domain and work closely together in an international environment with design offices and authorities in designing the systems security architectures while ensuring that the security requirements are implemented.
