We are looking for a Product Security Engineer II to join our Product Security team located in Burnaby, BC, reporting to the manager of Product Security Engineering. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the security and compliance of our products and systems, with a specific focus on Cloud Security and Workload Protection. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify security gaps, develop robust security controls, and implement industry-leading practices.

What you’ll do:
Develop and implement effective security controls in a multi-cloud environment, such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, to safeguard our globally dispersed SaaS productsOwn and manage a key security tool, such as EDR, SIEM, CSPM, or CNAPP, and ensure optimum coverage and health of the security capabilityConduct threat models using frameworks like STRIDE, PASTA, or Attack Trees against cloud architecture and advise Engineering teams on how to mitigate identified threatsPerform continuous security assessments against Infoblox cloud and Kubernetes microservice infrastructure Design, implement, and maintain security automation solutions with scripts/code to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effortRespond to security incidents and events impacting Infoblox productsServe as a security ambassador within Infoblox by collaborating with other groups within the organizationWork with technologies including Kubernetes, Containers, AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI, SAST, DAST, SIEM, EDR, CWPP, Serverless Functions, CSPM, CNAPP, WAF, etc.What you’ll bring:
5+ years of security engineering experienceExperience identifying and responding to security incidents Hands-on experience with security tooling and working experience with scripting languages such as Python or ShellPassion to learn new technologies and persistence to overcome technical challenges and ambiguityExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with and present to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience enabling Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) is highly desirableBachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field; equivalent work experience will be consideredRelevant industry certifications, such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, CISSP, OSCP, and/or CISM, are desirableWhat success looks like:

You can expect our employment offers to take many factors into consideration, including but not limited to the location of the role, internal equity, applicable past experience, individual skill set, education, and professional certifications. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned is the base salary range for the role. The typical base salary range for this position is $96,000 - $141,570 plus corporate bonus.
