Product/Service Specialist

+ Partners with Account Ownership teams as opportunities are limited to close the sale.
+ Develops and presents sales proposals, systems solutions and close complex technical sales opportunities as needed.
+ Maintains knowledge of ULs products and services and is able to communicate value proposition to clients effectively.
+ Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
+ Performs other duties as directed.
+ University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelors Degree) in an Engineering field or a related discipline plus generally five years of directly related experience.
+ Ability to communicate effectively and concisely.
+ General knowledge of company policies and sales processes.
+ Demonstrated ability to execute projects to achieve stated objectives.
+ Recognized as a product or service specialist by peers, customers, or industry leaders.
+ Significant business travel and work outside of the office required.
What we offer:
Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The estimated annual compensation for this position is $155,000. - $186,000. which includes a base salary of $100,000. - $120,000. and 100% on target performance. Members of the sales function are eligible to participate in the UL Solutions Sales Incentive Plan. The annual target incentive for this position is 55% of the base salary, paid quarterly, and is contingent upon performance. Compensation is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors.
This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
