We are seeking Product Service Support Technician to join our dynamic team! This position is responsible for supporting and facilitating the day-to-day care of animals in the assigned facility. Product Service Support Technicians are primarily tasked with preparing, presenting, and maintaining products and services that facilitate animal care and breeding in isolator facility. The person in this role will need to feel passionate about working with animals, enjoy and excel at organization, and support and maintain a clean, safe and compliant working environment. We are seeking someone that is hardworking, shows attention to detail, takes initiative, has a teamwork mentality and positive attitude.
ResponsibilitiesAs part of this role, the Product Service Support Technician will contribute to the team by:
Follow standard operating procedures for efficient transfer of materials into and out of animal barrierOperate all equipment in a safe, efficient and careful mannerKeep detailed records on work performedMaintain work area in an organized, clean, and safe conditionOperate washing and sterilizing equipmentReceive and stock incoming supplies, feed, bedding, etcAssemble animal shipping boxes Clean and sanitize work area, storage areas, and animal care areas as assignedMaintain records requiredAssist with animal husbandry Assist with shipmentsEuthanize as designatedOther duties as assigned Qualifications*This position could be offered at different levels for candidates who qualify with a combination of advanced levels of education and/or years of experience. The salary range will adjust along with the level of the role to match the person’s relevant experience and/or education level.
