Deliver the category level OEB vendor strategy, as defined by the RSM, to ensure the buying office has the best possible chance of gaining group volume through competitive tendersOrganise & contribute to the SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) programme for Key Strategic vendors, understanding capabilities, risks and opportunities in your supply baseImplement the sourcing 2.0 approach within your footprint and engage category sourcing team & centres of expertiseManage sourcing team activities & supplier selection in order to fulfil ranging demands at optimal price and volume whilst ensuring that the agreement is sustainable for all parties.Ongoing business activity
Manage forecasting & delivery of KPIs through structured monitoring, reporting, direction, challenge and supportBuild the framework and the strategy of the negotiation through setting the target, objectives and the team direction to deliver the required margin from annual contract negotiations and cost price reduction/increase mitigation activities with the team.Set priorities and ensure fact based negotiations through “should cost”, cost breakdown, LPP analysis, production cost and processes and developing common platforms (components, 2nd/3rd tier suppliers)What you'll bring
The successful candidate will have extensive negotiation experience within a commercial environment able to manage the end to end process through to vendor onboarding. You will be able to identify opportunities for component sourcing and manage the 'design to cost' process. You must have an understanding of manufacturing processes and cost structures for all of the applicable category areas. There will be around 30% travel within this position, you will be proficient in English, in the field and related to international business (written and spoken).
