Our client is seeking a Project Specialist / Product Specialist to manage sales opportunities and deliver solutions tailored to customer needs within an assigned territory, product line, or branch. The ideal candidate will evaluate customer requirements, size, and select appropriate products, prepare and deliver accurate quotes, manage purchase orders, coordinate service delivery, and ensure quality and safety compliance throughout each phase of the project. This role demands a proactive, detail-oriented professional with excellent communication and organizational skills to manage internal coordination and maintain customer satisfaction.
The Day-to-Day:
Manage and coordinate product and service sales opportunities for a specific territory or product line.Evaluate customer needs, select suitable products or services, and prepare quotations accordingly.Work closely with Field, Shop, and Supply Services teams to develop high-quality proposals.Support safe work practices and enforce compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.Collaborate with the Technical Account Lead to secure purchase orders, including managing change orders.Execute projects to ensure timely, safe, and cost-effective delivery while maintaining high-quality standards.Track project costs, manage margins, and identify opportunities for scope expansion or improved profitability.Perform quality inspections to ensure compliance with internal and customer requirements.Document and manage quality issues, lead root cause analysis, and support continuous improvement initiatives.Prepare and submit invoicing packages, ensuring job costing, documentation, and PO updates are complete.Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.Proven experience in project coordination, product sales, or service management—preferably in industrial, mechanical, or field service environments.Strong understanding of equipment sizing, product selection, and service delivery processes.Ability to read and interpret technical documents, customer specifications, and purchase orders.Excellent organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams and external customers.Knowledge of safety protocols, quality assurance, and compliance requirements.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP or project management systems is a plus.Ability to travel locally as needed for a project or customer support.Pay Rate:
$25.00 to $30.00 /hr
