Germantown, WI (LLC Support) - ManagementHow will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?The Strategic Accounts RFP Specialist is responsible for completing RFP and quotation market-basket requests in an efficient and accurate manner. The role requires interfacing with several key contacts within Airgas, key corporate customer contacts and partner suppliers.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Preparation of RFP or quote market-basket including material discovery process, costing, and analysis of key drivers based on commodity, vendor and SKU
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with representatives from our key partner suppliers and work with them to identify and obtain special pricing at the time of the bid and provide support as needed throughout the opportunity
Communicate with key stakeholders (internal and external), share information as needed, and provide timely progress reports on outstanding requests
Participate in conference calls/meetings as needed to discuss or strategize on the RFP/quote opportunity
Maintain team documentation such as SOP’s
Special projects as assigned by SA Manager(s) in support of agreed upon needs
Promote adoption of best practices in price management that are in alignment with SA and organizational goals

High level of initiative, curiosity and potential to go beyond the described role as the team responsibilities evolve

Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
Previous Airgas experience
SAP Experience

2-3 years inside sales, customer service or relevant Airgas/industry experience preferred, with knowledge of industrial, medical and specialty gases, welding and safety products a plus
Advanced Microsoft Excel® skills preferred (Vlookup, Pivots, etc.)
