Product Specialist

An investment firm in Boston, MA is looking to bring on a Product Specialist! The role is similar to a Senior Product Manager. The role is hybrid, and you are expected to be onsite in the Boston office twice a week.
The company manages investment portfolios by researching and selecting stocks and bonds with a focus on long-term value.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for acting as a liaison between investment teams, shared services, and clients, providing support for equity products with a focus on U.S. small-cap and small/mid-cap equity strategies. The ideal candidate possesses proven experience in equity product management, strong analytical skills, a passion for investment products, and the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts.
Required Skills and Experience 7+ years of experience in financial services, preferably in equity product management. Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting (or equivalent experience). Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Power BI. Advanced Excel skills and strong quantitative abilities. What You Will Be Doing Create written content such as white papers, thought pieces, and marketing materials. Collaborate with internal teams on projects and initiatives supporting equity products. Assist with client and prospect deliverables, including reports and commentary. Act as a subject matter expert on small and mid-cap equity strategies for marketing and sales teams. Research market trends, client needs, and competitors to refine product positioning. Conduct marketing research to identify competitive advantages and new content ideas.
