The Product Specialist (Based in Indonesia) is responsible for selling mass spectrometry systems and related products to the customers in various market, including commercial, government, and academic institutions, and also developing the market with a good understanding of products in Indonesia. This role is instrumental in driving sales by creating, defining and developing new sales/ market/ business opportunities and strategies that would contribute to the success of our organization.

This position reports to the General Manager, Japan, ANZ, SEA and TW and is part of the Sales team located in South East Asia Region and working remotely to cover Indonesia.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Identify and develop new MS business/market/sales opportunities that would improve business by working directly with marketing and application teams to achieve new sales and market expansion.Work closely with channel partners to negotiate complex contracts, create sales strategies to meet sales plan and to develop and implement successful account strategies.Provide analysis of current product positioning and improve overall offering and maintain our competitiveness in the market.Support channel partners in the entire sales cycle from customer pre-sales visit to creating quotations for customer purchase.Manage key accounts and drive collaborative projects by developing close relationships with customer and gain improved understanding of the customers’ needs and purchasing process

The essential requirements of the job include:

Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in chemistry, mass spec or life science related fields is required, higher degree is preferred3-5 years of sales and market development experienceMetrics driven mindset with strong CRM/data analysis and reporting orientation: Lead conversion, funnel strength, win/loss analysis, forecasting, etc.Strong leadership, able to motivate and drive team to success in a positive mannerAbility to take on other assigned sales territories within SEA when required.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

Ability to travel to SEA countries and must possess a valid driver’s license

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Familiarity with the competitive landscape, market trends and regulatory environment in IndonesiaIndustry specific knowledge and the ability to manage complex set of demands and relationships to maximize customer satisfaction while exceeding sales goals.
